The Indian Institute of Foreign Trade (IIFT) was established in 1963 by Government of India with the main to provide courses in foreign trade to the civil servants, and to facilitate professionalizing the country's Foreign Trade Management skill.
The institute has worked with a number of Organizations like World Trade Organization (WTO), World Bank, UNCTAD and the Ministry of Commerce & Industry, Government of India besides evolving itself into a complete business school, offering Management Programmes in various streams of International Business. It not only offers full time programmes in Management but also offers part-time programmes for working professionals.
